At Bluedata, our mission is to provide a quality learning experience and an opportunity for International students to learn English for personal, academic, and professional purposes while experiencing American culture in New York City.
With this mission in mind, all lessons and activities strive to help students fully integrate into NYC's vibrant English speaking community. By bringing together students of various nationalities in an educational setting that challenges and invigorates students' intellectually, Bluedata strives to create a community of empowered scholars capable of succeeding in our globalized world.
- Bluedata was founded in 1997 as a private co-educational licensed business school.
- In February 2005, it was certified by the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) to accept nonimmigrant international students.
- Today, as one of the leaders in language education in New York City, Bluedata International Institute is committed to providing every student with a learning experience that is rewarding, expansive, intellectually gratifying, and culturally sensitive.
"The best approach to foreign language education is to create within the student a passion for the language, a curiosity and a hunger for creative expression out of the new language", a Bluedata teacher once said. And we believe it is with this kind of passion and dedication that makes our teachers stand out.
Not only are our teachers good at what they do, but all of them are native English speakers who are certified to teach ESL by the New York State Department of Education. They strive on a daily basis for communicative language teaching, and to help students meet their personal, professional, and academic aspirations.

Bluedata is conveniently located in the heart of Midtown Manhattan on 32nd St. and Broadway, near Herald Square. The school is accessible by the NQRBDFM trains, and is in walking distance from Penn Station. Penn Station is the gateway for NJ Transit and Long Island Railroad, and also provides access to the 1, 2, and 3 subways.
